The 12th Cavalry Regiment Association is a non-profit organization of veterans of the 12th Cavalry Regiment.  While we are an independent organization, we are recognized by the Army as the official organization of veterans of the Regiment. 

 

The 12th Cavalry Regiment was formed in 1901 and our membership includes Troopers who served on horseback prior to World War II, those who served in the Pacific in World War II, veterans of the Occupation of Japan, Cold War, Vietnam, Bosnia and most recently Iraq.

 

Membership in the association is about 500 former and active duty Troopers.  Membership dues and donations are our only source of income.
